Johnny Keefer swept the 2025 Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards in the Korn Ferry Tour, the PGA Tour announced Thursday.
The only other players to win both awards in the same season were Sungjae Im (2018) and Scottie Scheffler (2019). The awards are voted on by Korn Ferry Tour members.
Keefer, who played collegiately at Baylor, secured his 2026 PGA Tour card after winning the NV5 Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour in July. It was one of two wins on the circuit this year, along with the Veritex Bank Championship in April.
The 24-year-old led all Korn Ferry Tour players in top-five finishes (six), top-10s (nine) and top-25s (15) and finished No. 1 on the season points list. He broke the tour’s single-season scoring average at 67.95, topping Luke Guthrie’s mark of 68.33 in 2012.
He competed in three events this season on the PGA Tour, missing the cuts at the PGA Championship and the RBC Canadian Open before finishing T61 at the U.S. Open at Oakmont in June.
