After missing 14 games with an upper-body injury, New York Rangers center Vincent Trocheck will be in the lineup for Monday’s game against the visiting Nashville Predators.
Trocheck, 32, had been placed on long-term injured reserve after sustaining the injury Oct. 9 against the Buffalo Sabres. In two games this season, the 13-year veteran has one assist.
“I feel good; just glad to be back now,” Trocheck told reporters Monday. “This was in my head the day I had circled on the calendar. Glad I was able to get back in time.”
He played in all 82 games in each of his previous three seasons and 81 in the prior campaign.
A two-time All-Star, Trocheck has totaled 579 points (223 goals, 356 assists) in 803 career games with the Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes and Rangers.
