Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George will make his season debut at home Monday night against his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers, ESPN reported.
The nine-time All-Star missed the first 12 games while recovering from offseason surgery on his left knee.
George, 35, was limited to 41 games in 2024-25 in the first year of his four-year, $212 million contract he signed with the Sixers in July 2024. He averaged 16.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game before his season ended in March due to left knee and left adductor injuries.
He sustained a left knee injury during a workout in July and had surgery later that month.
George has career averages of 20.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 908 games (860 starts) with the Indiana Pacers (2010-17), Oklahoma City Thunder (2017-19), Clippers (2019-24) and Sixers.
