The Indianapolis Colts have signed pending free-agent wide receiver Alec Pierce to a four-year, $116 million contract, according to multiple media reports Monday.
The deal includes $84 million in guarantees and $60 million fully guaranteed at signing, per NFL Network.
Pierce, who turns 26 in May, broke out in the final year of his rookie deal with Indianapolis, leading the team with 1,003 yards on 47 catches along with six touchdown receptions in his first season playing with Daniel Jones.
The Colts last week placed a transition tag on Jones, who tore his Achilles in December, meaning he’ll return on a one-year, $37.8 million contract unless the two sides reach a long-term deal or Indianapolis elects not to match an offer another team extends to Jones.
Over four seasons since he was a second-round pick out of Cincinnati in the 2022 NFL Draft, Pierce has caught 157 passes for 2,934 yards and 17 touchdowns in 64 games (55 starts).
